MR-D110 is a non-hydrogenated DCPD hydrocarbon resin with a nominal 110°C Ring-and-Ball softening point. It is the higher softening-point companion to MR-D100, intended for rubber and tire compounds, industrial coatings, printing inks, adhesives, asphalt modification and specialty binders where added heat resistance and film hardness are preferred over the 100°C class.

Compared with MR-D100, the higher softening point typically raises melt viscosity and film hardness while narrowing open time in adhesive systems. Where color, odor or UV stability is critical, review the hydrogenated MR-H110 instead; hydrogenation changes color, unsaturation and price positioning.
Formulation and application notes
In rubber and tire compounds, screen MR-D110 for green tack, stiffness, filler wetting and component adhesion at equal phr against the incumbent resin, and confirm cure curve, heat build-up and aging.
For coatings and inks, the 110°C class usually improves block resistance and early hardness; verify solvent solubility, gloss, pigment wetting and storage stability with the same test procedure used for the incumbent grade.
In adhesives and asphalt systems, record melt viscosity, open time, softening behavior and heat resistance across full heating and cooling cycles that reproduce production and field conditions. If bromine value or unsaturation is critical to your process, state the required method and limit in the inquiry so it can be included in the proposed specification.
