At equal loading, MR-C9120 will normally contribute more body and a higher temperature response than MR-C9110. It will also increase melt viscosity, so processing temperature, pump pressure, coating weight, and wetting should be checked. Compare viscosity only when the temperature and method are the same.

Formulation and application notes

For coatings and inks, evaluate pigment wetting, gloss, film hardness, dry time, solvent release, adhesion, and color retention. Aromatic compatibility can make C9 resin useful with alkyd and hydrocarbon-soluble binders, but every solvent package should be checked for clarity and storage stability.
