Typical Mw rises from 670 to 700 and 730 g/mol respectively. More importantly for screening, softening point and Tg increase sharply across the series: 105°C and 55°C for 5300, 124°C and 74°C for 5320, and 139.5°C and 86°C for 5340.

YI and APHA are not interchangeable color scales. The Escorez values are solution YI results, whereas MR-H100 is stated in APHA. A lower-looking number on one scale does not prove better color on the other. For a valid comparison, prepare both samples at a matched concentration and use one instrument, solvent, method and aging condition.
When MR-H100 may work—and when to be cautious
MR-H100 is the logical first Escorez 5300 equivalent candidate when the formulation accepts a nominal 100°C resin and the priorities are water-white appearance, full hydrogenation and compatibility with a low-polarity adhesive system. Start at the incumbent resin loading, then compare blend clarity, melt viscosity, open time, set speed, tack, peel, shear and heat resistance.
The 5°C difference between the published Escorez 5300 typical softening point and MR-H100’s nominal value can still change set speed, creep resistance and the tack/cohesion balance. Polymer grade, oil, wax, antioxidant package and coating temperature may amplify that difference. Published molecular weight and Tg are not available for MR-H100, so those properties should not be assumed from softening point alone.
Use greater caution with Escorez 5320 and Escorez 5340. Their higher softening-point and Tg windows are not matched by MR-H100 or MR-H110. If those grades are used to deliver elevated-temperature cohesion, replacing them with either Milorez grade may require reformulation and may not meet the original target.
For hygiene-adhesive high-speed coating lines, a laboratory pass is necessary but insufficient. Run a controlled pilot because small differences in melt viscosity, thermal color stability, odor, filtration behavior, coat-weight control and creep can become visible only at production temperature and line speed.
